Environmental Advisory Committee

Resolution # EAC-002-2023 THAT Patti Kemp be Vice Chair of the Environmental Advisory Committee.

Resolution # EAC-003-2023 THAT the Terms of Reference for the Environmental Advisory Committee be received for review and comments by the Environmental Advisory Committee members; AND THAT the amended Terms of Reference be recommended to the Thames Centre Council for approval.

Resolution # EAC-004-2023 THAT Report No. C-EAC-001-2023 be received for information; AND THAT the following schedule of meeting dates for 2024 be approved:  February 5, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.  May 27, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.  September 9, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.  December 2, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.

Resolution # EAC-005-2023 THAT Report No. C-EAC-003-23 be received for information; AND THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee recommend approval of the Draft Tree Planting Plan as amended to Thames Centre Council.

Resolution # EAC-006-2023 THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee recommends to Thames Centre Council that staff be directed to provide to the Committee an inventory of available publicly owned lands, for tree planting; AND THAT Thames Centre Council direct staff to investigate and report back to the Committee on a Heritage Tree policies.

Resolution # EAC-007-2023 THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee requests that the Thames Centre Council allocate a budget of $2,000 to the Environmental Advisory Committee, for 2024.

Resolution # EAC-008-2023 THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee recommends that Thames Centre Council consider joining the Partners for Climate Protection Program and Building Adaptive and Resilient Communities Program.

Resolution # EAC-009-2023 RESOLVED THAT the meeting adjourn at 12:25 p.m.
